Private Ballet / Pointe / Variations Coaching (Online)

In addition to her own professional experience, Gwynedd has spent the last 4 years as a teaching artist in NYC, giving group and private instruction to ages 5-18+. Gwynedd creates a fun and focused environment for dedicated dancers who wish to grow.

Private coaching for this age group covers the fundamentals of ballet technique with a particular focus on correct alignment and proper turnout. After a diagnostic session to assess each dancer's inherent strengths and challenges, the hour is usually divided between 30 minutes of exercises tailored to the dancer's specific technical needs and 30 minutes learning an appropriate classical ballet variation. This way, time is balanced between technical and artistic expression, with an intention to integrate the two.
